Introduction
Wuyi Rock Oolong – Aged Tree Rougui
An Aged Elegance from the Heart of Wuyi Mountains
Sourced from over 30-year-old tea trees rooted deep in the rocky soils of the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian, this Aged Tree Rougui represents the essence of traditional Yancha craftsmanship. The aged tea bushes yield leaves rich in complexity, offering a layered profile of warm cinnamon bark, aged wood, and subtle floral and fruity undertones.
Crafted through a meticulous triple charcoal roasting process at a medium fire level, this tea exudes a signature “rock rhyme” (岩韵)—a mineral-rich mouthfeel that lingers and evolves with each steep.
Expect a smooth, full-bodied taste with a satisfying returning sweetness (回甘), capturing both the power and elegance that only old-tree Wuyi oolong can deliver.
Perfect for connoisseurs seeking depth, nuance, and the quiet strength of tradition in every cup.
