Description

Honey Scented Oolong Tea
The key to the honey-floral aroma lies in the young tea buds being gently bitten by the small green leafhopper. This natural interaction, followed by specific processing techniques, produces a unique and delicate fragrance known as “yan xiang (蜒香)”, often described as resembling floral honey.
Brewing Recommendations
Use 5–6g of tea with 110–130ml of water
Water temperature: Use fully boiling water, or at least 95°C (203°F). Lower temperatures may affect the tea’s flavor expression.
First three infusions: Steep for 3–5 seconds, then pour immediately.
Quick infusions in the early rounds best showcase the elegance and light body of this “beauty tea”. Adjust steeping time for later infusions based on personal preference.
⚠️ Note: Always use fully boiling water. Insufficient water temperature may suppress the tea’s full aroma and flavor expression.
