Wild Black Tea

Wild Grown Yunnan Black Tea from Ancient Tea Trees

This is a true wild tea in the botanical sense, naturally occurring members of the Camellia genus that grow without human cultivation. It is not to be confused with so-called “wild-style” teas that come from abandoned or minimally managed cultivated fields.

Upon the first infusion, the tea releases a distinct honeyed aroma, characteristic of high-quality Dianhong (滇红), accompanied by delicate floral notes. The liquor is sweet, smooth, and full-bodied, with a lingering sweet aftertaste.

By the third infusion, a subtle hint of Concord grape emerges. A gentle warmth spreads through the body, inducing a slight perspiration and deep relaxation. Especially enjoyable when sipped after lunch, offering both comfort and clarity.

Brewing Recommendations

  • Use a tea-to-water ratio of 4g of tea per 100ml of water.
  • Always start with fully boiling water.
  • Steep each infusion for 3–5 seconds.

⚠️ Note: Always use fully boiling water. Insufficient water temperature may suppress the tea’s full aroma and flavor expression.
